Ask Zora: Check Something Suspicious
Ask Zora helps you assess a suspicious message, call, link, image, QR code or situation and understand what to do before responding.

What Ask Zora is
Ask Zora is the checking and guidance experience in ZoraSafe. You choose what to share; it helps explain concerns and practical next steps. It is useful when a request feels urgent, unfamiliar or difficult to verify.
What you can bring to Zora
You can share, paste, scan, upload or describe supported content, including texts, emails, links, images, QR codes, phone numbers and suspicious situations. For a call, describe the request or provide the number; do not assume the app is listening to your conversation.
For example: a delivery text asks for payment, a QR code leads to an unfamiliar login, or a caller claiming to be family requests secrecy. These are illustrative situations, not diagnostic tests.

Check, understand, then verify
- Open ZoraSafe and choose the available Ask Zora input that fits what you have.
- Provide only the details needed to explain the concern. Leave out passwords, verification codes and unnecessary personal details.
- Read the explanation and next steps. A reassuring result is not proof that a sender is genuine.
- For payment, account or emergency requests, verify through a saved number or an official app you open yourself.

Limits and privacy
ZoraSafe helps assess risk; it does not guarantee scam detection, prove a person’s identity or promise recovery of lost money. Missing context and new tactics can affect a check.
You control what you submit and whether to invite family support. Read the privacy policy for how information is handled; do not treat checking as anonymous processing or assume that no information is retained.
